Prototyping

Rapid Prototyping
As the name implies utilizes various methods to quickly build 3 dimensional, physical models for viewing new products, component aesthetics, and sections, or to confirm part fit. By utilizing rapid prototyping in a product development project, it is possible to shorten project timing and reduce the risk of prototype or production retooling because of assembly fit problems.
Engineering Prototyping
Involves building a physical representation of a part or product for the purposes of evaluating structural integrity, assembly methodology and fit, product performance, and in some cases aesthetics.

Analysis and Optimization

Brick and Byte Structural Analysis Group will offer a complete structural analysis service using conventional and computer aided techniques to assist in the development of new and improved transport and industrial products.

Structural and predictive analysis provide a cost effective method to achieve:
• Design optimization
• Cost/weight reductions
• Material change investigating
• Manufacturing process simulation
• Test simulation

Predictive analysis techniques have advanced to a stage where they can be usefully applied to assess structural concerns from the clay modeling phase to support concern resolution at program development phase. However, the whole analysis process needs to be carefully planned and managed to coordinate input to design at an early stage. Brick and Byte Structures staff will be professional engineers experienced in the application of advanced and classical engineering analysis techniques with practical knowledge of the industries we serve.

The Brick and Byte Structural analysis team will build substantial experience in the following fields of analyses: Stiffness and strength evaluation of metal and composite structures using static linear and nonlinear stress analysis for lighter, stronger, more efficient design.

Dynamic nonlinear analysis for the prediction and evaluation of impacts or blasts related to all types of transport or safety engineering.

Competence Design

Brick and Byte shall also offer world class specialized training on Digital Design, Sculpting & Modelling using Alias, Catia & Unigraphics tools. The competence studio, will be the forum to bring together industries in India closer to Engineers, Diploma Holders, Working Executives, etc. who would like to avail the opportunities in the emerging engineering revolution. The objectives apart from that of being able to draw skilled trained resources for inhouse use is as follows:
• To enable a backward integration for training and recruiting the best talents for the Design Studio.
• To make engineering students proficient in the use of CAID/CAD/CAM tools
• To enable engineers to understand the concepts of CAID/CAD/Manufacturing Engineering in today's world for efficiently developing products using resources from various units of an organization/industry.v • To allow trainees to understand the fundamentals of wire frame modeling, Class A surface modeling and solid modeling
• To provide technical expertise to local industries and enable them to achieve their business objectives through the use of CAD/CAM tools

Technical Competencies

Brick and Byte design engineering personnel work with customer styling and marketing project staff to provide early concept and feasibility work for establishing product features and packaging parameters, as well as Bill of Material development.

From concept approval and raw pick data, Brick and Byte designers will develop product surfaces in CAD to customer specifications, and under engineering direction supported by manufacturing and analysis progress the full design in the requested CAD system.

As part of the prototype test validation sequence. Brick and Byte engineers and designers will continue to support the product development process right up to and through start of production.
